High School Challenge Powers Up Students Creativity

Over 100 high school students took part in the Challenge which had a bioenergy theme. The students' challenge was to learn about different types of bioenergy, based on four hypothetical communities similar to those found in Oregon.

2016 Middle School Challenge Builds Student Success

Nearly 200 middle school students from SMILE clubs across the state participate in the spring Challenge and College Connection Days.

STEM Discovery

SMILE Clubs are the foundation of the program. Students meet weekly and explore STEM subjects and the joy of scientific discovery.
