Three LaCuKnoS forestry lessons: Design a Sustainable Business, How Clean is the Air, and Understanding Wildfire Smoke. 1) Students will work in a small group to develop and present an idea for a new clothing/fashion business that considers sustainable design and the triple bottom line; 2) Students will look at how air quality affects the people where you live. Next, you will work in groups to create air quality sensors and put them around your school. Finally, you will use the information to come up with a plan to raise awareness about air quality in your school; 3) Activities study the concept of temperature inversion.
