Battle for Ship Time looks at a strategy for making sense of a ton of resources, like research vessels, by looking at their connections in a Network. The Coastal Endurance Array off of the Oregon Coast uses gliders to monitor ocean water conditions. Their glider Bob has returned to shore and its data needs to be looked at. Bob the Glider gets students familiar with the data available and looking for anything that stands out. Notice One Thing tells students that NOAA needs their help in coming up with cool and creative ways to get people engaged in learning and caring about the ocean by building a data sculpture.
